So, from what I've learned so far, Nintendo is a lot more persistent in banning modded Switches than they were with the 3DS and practically ANY modification on a Switch that is actively connected to the Internet could potentially be banned, even months from the initial infraction. I haven't played online since doing so, but given the warning for using the editor in this forum, I'm starting to get a little spooked now. Thankfully, I did make a backup even though I hadn't unlocked much as I only recently got it. Although I don't have any pirated games and mostly wanted mine modded so I could use PKHex and checkpoint to 'enhance' games every so often, I did just use an All Unlocked save on my Smash Bros. Hi, I'm still fairly new to the modded Switch, which is apparently a lot risker than using a modded 3DS.
